New Album Release- 2 Years In Review

This has been a long time coming- I’m so happy to share my latest album (somewhere between an EP and LP…), ‘2 Years In Review’. This album reflects a VERY challenging two years in my life, from 2018 through 2020. In those two years, there were countless revelations about things I'd thought were one way, but were in reality much different. I watched friendships, relationships, and marriages (my own and others' as well) dissolve seemingly overnight, learned things about my family history that I was completely oblivious of for decades, and more. Cumulo Nimbus (in this case, a live take) starts off right before things start to spiral, and the rest of the album through the ending of Aftermath is a chronicle of navigating all of those events and those emotions, hitting some of the darkest points before the hopeful ending of Aftermath, reflecting a new beginning.

Just about all of the instrument sounds on this album are a 6-string bass guitar, running through different effects, modelers, and loopers. There are some MIDI instruments here and there, and full electronic drumset during Inside of Me and Someone In Your Life (special thanks to Andrew), but this entire album was written on bass. Despite being a multi-instrumentalist, I'm most at home on extended range bass, and have really enjoyed pushing the boundaries (or, at least my boundaries) throughout this album.

I could not have done this without the support of the amazing people listed here-

Brittany Frompovich, for being a valued set of ears as I worked to drastically improve my recording skills.
Andrew Lynch, for providing some much needed production to help push me out of my comfort zone a bit.
Alyce Hart, for her amazing lyrics and melody, and the blessing to use them on this track.
My family, for better or worse, for inspiring this album.

And, my wife Tiffany, and son Jameson, for being super supportive as I've worked on this, and being a wonderfully supportive part of of this new chapter...well, book... of my life.

New Single!

From my forthcoming album '2 Years In Review'!

This song is specifically about 2 people splitting after over 20 years, after mounting pressures and deception finally were too much to bear and the immediate aftermath of it all. After going through my own divorce during this same time period and not only losing my partner, but friends and family depending on the situation, it helped see this for what it was and seems to have always been- one way or another, we all lose each other.
